Amitabh sent a truck full of roses for Sridevi
The incident was also mentioned by late choreographer Saroj Khan quoting the book Sridevi: The Eternal Screen Goddess. Let us tell you that Saroj Khan had choreographed Sridevi and Amitabh Bachchan in the 1992 film ‘Khuda Gawah’.
Saroj Khan had told that to convince Sridevi, Amitabh Bachchan had sent a truck full of roses. After this the truck was rained on Sridevi. But despite it raining roses, Sridevi did not agree. She then placed a condition before the makers that she would play the roles of both mother and daughter in ‘Khuda Gawah’. The makers had accepted this statement of Sridevi and the pairing of Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi was seen in Khuda Gawah. Famous actor Nagarjuna was also a part of the film. ‘Khuda Gawah’ was directed by Mukul Anand. Whereas its producer was Manoj Desai.
